HANDS-ON LAMBING SCHOOL
HEY YOU NEW OR WOULD-BE SHEPHERDS! If you want to learn about small scale
sustainable sheep production, SkyLines Farm's annual workshops give you the
real-life, hands-on experience you need to succeed. Come out to the farm,
spend a day with our happy healthy sheep, and see how it's done on a real
working farm! Our 2010 workshop schedule:
HANDS-ON LAMBING SCHOOL March 27 or April 3. Spend an entire day in the
middle of lambing season with my 40 breeding ewes and their newborn lambs,
as I lead participants through discussion, demonstration, and hands-on
experience covering all the major aspects of lambing time management.
HANDS-ON SMALL SCALE SHEEP PRODUCTION June 19 or July 10. This popular
daylong event is a great complement to Lambing School, and covers all the
other aspects of raising happy, healthy sheep by organic and sustainable
methods. Includes hands-on work with the sheep, a farm walk, and much more.
Registration $99/person/per workshop, deposit required to reserve your spot.
Class size extremely limited to ensure a quality hands on experience, so
register early. Visit www.skylinesfarm.comfor more details. For
